Final Game Review - Player Ratings & More Gold from Redknapp

Super Pav
"Super Me-La-Chenko!"
Quite a boring game in which both teams seemed content to pass the ball round to no effect. It
was more interesting watching the scores come up on the screen and then trying to work out who was going down. Points, goal diffrence, goals scored, it was hardcore maths at one point. And then the ever polarising Mr Pavlychenko awoke us from our Math enduced comas with two blistering goals to send us into the summer break on a high. If only he had a half way decent first touch and played well more than 25% of the time, I'd love him and he wouldn't split opinions so drastically.

A text message I received after the game summed it up perfectly. It read, "Supper Pav." Precicely. Pavlychenko, not quite Super due to a lack of effort in the execution.

Player Ratings
Cudicini 6.5 - Didn't have much to do. But he looks calm and composed. His distribution is impressive. He's certainly better than Brad Friedel, who Redknapp seems to be touting.
Kaboul 6.5 - Quiet afternoon in defence and supported the attack reasonably well.
Dawson 6.5 - No major wobbles, not alot to do.
King 7.5 - "Oh Ledley Ledley, he's only got one knee, he's better than John Terry, oh Ledley Ledley" .... if only he had more than one knee.
Rose 7 - Got forwards well, got a few crosses in and caused a few problems, but quite frustratingly lost the ball easily on a few occasions.
Lennon 6.5 - Slightly threatening at times, but looked more like he was interested in his summer break at other times.
Sandro 7 - The Future. Does he ever give the ball away?
Huddlestone 6 - Bog standard performance.
Modric 8 - Hes a magician.
Crouch 5 - Quiet. Got injured. Had a row with a fan. Got subbed.
Defoe 6 - Didn't really respond to his manager telling him to up his game. No doubt that bandaging on his right wrist is because he is being an utter wan.... well you can work the rest of that one out!

Subs
Pav 8 - Well taken goals. Supper Pav.
Krancjar 6 - Not much time to do anything.

Harry Redknapp
Suck It Spurs Fans.
And onto our ever encouraging, humble and supportive manager. Does he engage his brain before coming out with such jewels as:

"This has been far and away the best season in the Premier League that Tottenham has had."
"It won't get any better, enjoy it. This is good as it can get."
"They're idiots"
"Anyone who has got any brains will know it's been an amazing season at Tottenham and that we've played great football. Anyone that does not enjoy it should go and support someone else."

Twat.

Never mind. The season ended on a win and an enjoyable tongue in cheek rendition of "Thursday night, channel 5" with the Birmingham fans.

But wait! Thanks for reading this season and be sure to stay tuned over the next 10 weeks. I'll be keeping both myself and you entertained and up to speed with Spurs based articles, and general prattle throughout the summer. COYS!
