Five nil up in the first leg, and an all but formality for the second. We're resting players, the Hearts manager has all but given up and is going to give a run out to some of his lesser used players as well. Which does mean we could be in for a feisty affair as it will be anything but a formality for those players given an oppourtunity to shine. They'll be playing hard to showcase their talents in an attempt to catch their respective managers eye. More on Tottenham's team news further down the page.Opposition Fan Forum Views
As you can probably guess, they aren't overwhelmingly confident of getting anything out of this game, let alone getting through. Not much of the chat surrounding this match in the Hearts forums are about the football, but instead things like, what away friendly pubs are still in one piece in Tottenham, whether anyone wants to buy their tickets and what a long and tedious journey back it will be. The football related comments are how many they'll get beaten by and the eternal optimists are hoping we play an entire team of youths and Hearts some how nick six goals off of us.... If that happens, I will eat this blog.

Team News
Pienaar, Palacios, Jenas, King, Hutton, Gallas and Sandro are all unavailable, while Huddlestone (ankle) and Modric (bullshit gland) are doubts. But none of that really matters as Redknapp has already stated that he will be playing some of the kids in the game tonight. Fair enough, we're 5-0 up and have Man City on Sunday.
Given the first teamers being rested and the young players being debuted, (19 year old midfielder Tom Carroll - far right, 18 year old striker Harry Kane - right and 20 year old winger Andros Townsend) the players and formation are anyones guess, but Gomes can have one more chance to prove himself in goal. Walker can get some practice in at right back. Lennon needs match sharpness. And we might as well give Pav a run out. Modric to come on in the second half, score a hat-trick and then climb up to the directors box for a hug with Daniel Levy. 4-2 Spurs. COYS.
