Scott Parker - ***** - Currently anchoring the midfield.
Kyle Walker - **** - Just broken into the starting XI and is looking good.


Croatia (Friday & Tuesday)
Vedran Corluka - *** - Backup for Walker and rest for Walker in Europe
Niko Krancjar - ** - Backup to the backup
Luka Modric - ***** - Critical to the team.

Russia (Friday & Tuesday)
Roman Pavlyuchenko - *** - Back up to a thin strike force

France (Friday & Tuesday)
Younes Kaboul - **** - Just broken into the starting XI and looking good. Absence will expose our depleted defence.

Holland (Friday & Tuesday)
Rafael Van Der Vaart - **** - Key player, whether starting or coming off bench. Only 4 star because there are options if he is injured.
