Norwich 0 Spurs 2 - Match Report, Ratings & Player Twitter Reaction

A match that we looked in control of for the entire 90 minutes. At half time with the match still at 0-0, it just looked like a matter of time before we opened the scoring. And on the 54th minute Gareth Bale steps up. Ade receives the ball in the box and tries to work himself some space for a shot, but instead opts for a pass to Bale who controls and puts the ball under the outstretched flailing hand of Ruddy. 0-1.

Bale's second was pure class. Modric sees him running into a bit of space and plays a perfectly weighted ball through the middle. Bale collects it, runs the entire length of Norwich's half and dinks a cheeky little shot over the keeper. 0-2.

Gaps simultaneously opened and closed with 3rd place being consolidated. COYS indeed.

Friedel 7 - Did well with the few things he had to do.
Walker 6.5 - Had the opposition defenders on their back foot all game, but did look off the pace a bit in the first half.
Kaboul 7.5 - Back from his suspension with a top performance.
Gallas 7.5 - Top performance again and always harassing the Norwich attackers. Loses half a point for getting booked.
BAE 7 - Good Benny was back again today.

Parker & Sandro 8 - Beasts.
Modric 7.9 - Runs the attack through the middle, got a few shots off himself and good vision to set Bale off for his second.
Bale 9 - A few missed shots in the first half, but was immense throughout. A constant threat with his pace and scored two goals.
VDV 7 - Some amazing long passes but was a bit anonymous at times.

Adebayor 7.5 - Great touches and hold up play. Assist for the first goal.

Subs
Rose, Livemore, Krancjar 6 - Offered fresh legs and saw the game out.
