Right Spurs fans. This has gone on long enough. Benny has been with us for over 5 years now. Sure, he had a bit of a mixed start, but now he's one of, it not the best left back in the league. The partnership he's formed with Bale on the left wing, arguably also gives us one of, if not the best left wing in the league.

Crazy hair, odd coloured boots, the man's a top character and this season there are more Assou-Ekotto 32 shirts than any other season. I think Benny has reached the point where the entire White Hart Lane crowd should be ashamed of itself for not having a song for the man.

Granted, there have been a few attempts on various blogs, websites, forums etc. to come up with a chant for Benny, but none have come to a conclusion, and I haven't heard any sung en mass at the Lane.
