If there is one thing I've noticed about the Liverpool fan forums, it's that our level of performance and league position in relation to them is directly correlated to how much they bitch and moan about Spurs and how many posts riddled with bile spewing hatred of us there are.As you can imagine, this is currently a high proportion.
---EDIT: But to be fair to the more sensible Liverpool fans who have posted comments below this article in defence of their fan base, there are some who are complimentary of our current form and football.---
Here are some other comments from the forums:
"Spurs are the only team to beat us at home since Kenny returned."
"In terms of rebuilding, I think we are 2 years off of where Spurs are."
Winner of the "most retarded comment, and obviously never seen Spurs play award" goes to this guy for:
"I think Spurs will keep it tight and play for the draw, hoping to pinch a goal"
The predictions are heavily weighted in Liverpool's favour largely because of their desperation to "f***ing do us" and the return of Suarez. They are expecting him to have a massive effect on the morale of the team and fans. Whether he comes on as a sub, or replaces the rarely (but currently) in form Andy Carroll is another issue up for debate that seems to have a 50/50 split on opinions.

Team News
Saha could make his debut as Defoe, Adebayor and VDV are all injury doubts. We can only hope Saha comes out to prove a point to his doubters and also that Bale has a blinder and scores all of our goals anyway. Lennon is struggling with a hamstring problem, whilst Gallas and Huddlestone are both long term injuries, but Walker should be fine after needing to be subbed against Wigan.
Friedel
Walker King Kaboul BAE
Sandro Parker
Krancjar Modric Bale
Saha
UPDATE: Kaboul posted on Twitter that his knee is swollen and won't be playing. Replace with Dawson.
Everyone is going to need to be on the top of their game if we are to get something out of this. Especially Bale. Lennon isn't necessarily our best player, but his inclusion does give us the width we so desperately need to make our football function. It makes the failure to buy a suitable wide player for cover/competition in the wings a huge oversight by Redknapp/Levy. Saying that, if we go out and beat Liverpool by four goals by going through the middle, I'll be just as happy. I'm going for a 2-2. COYS.
