Sunderland 0 Spurs 0 - Ratings & Twitter Reaction from Lennon, VDV etc.

In a match that ended 0-0 and had a combined total of just four shots on target, it's a match that can only be described as 90 minutes of our lives we'll never get back.

Chris Hoy Foy seemed too scared to make a decision either way, and we perhaps should have had two penalties for handballs on the line. Sunderland also had a shout with the ball making contact with Parker's hand in our area, but alas, excitement was not to be and both teams played out the epitome of a bore draw.

Player Twitter Reaction
Younes Kaboul - 1 point better than nothing...Heading on monday now for 3 points. Thanks to all of you for your support.
louis saha - Only one point today. Hopefully day after tomorow we get 3 more pts. Hopefully Only 8 games left.
Aaron Lennon - Could of done with the 3 points today but no time to dwell on it, get ourselves ready for Monday now
Rafael van der Vaart - Unfortunately we didn't take the win today, Monday another chance for 3 points!

Player Ratings
Friedel 6 - Not much to do.
Walker 6 - Consistently beaten in defence and toothless in attack. No support for him down the right until Lennon came on though.
Gallas 6 - Good at times, made some ridiculous mistakes at others.
Kaboul 6.5 - Better than Gallas.
BAE 6 - Tried in attack had little support from Bale, did some great things at times, but had some absolutely mental Benny moments at others.
Sandro 5.5 - Constant fouls, way of the pace and gave the ball away frequently. Booked. Subbed.
Parker 6 - Some good tackles at times, but constantly gave the ball away with stupid passes.
Modric 6 - Quiet. Too Quiet.
Bale 5.5 - Believes his own hype. #baleontheleft
VDV 6 - Should have done better when through on goal. Quiet for the majority of the game.
Ade 5 - No service.

Lennon 6 - Came on late as he wasn't fully fit, attempted to inject some excitement into the game without too much success.
Saha & Defoe 5 - Touched the ball once or twice between them.

Sunderland, difficult place to go. I said before the game I'd be happy with a point, and I suppose I am now, but I just wish it hadn't come at the expense of such a tedious 90 minutes of football! Oh well, they can't all be exciting. Onwards.
